Announcing the Beverly H. Kapanjie Scholarship

The Ridley Educational Foundation has created a scholarship in honor the service of Beverly H. Kapanjie. This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior at Ridley High School. Bev was the driving force behind the creation of the foundation in 1999. She has served as the board president since that time. Her tireless efforts made it possible for the foundation to award thousands of dollars in grants to teachers for their creative and innovative ideas that enhance educational opportunities for students. Bev is also a dedicated piano teacher who loves introducing the piano to new students and encouraging them to develop their skills. She takes great delight in planning a recital where her students could showcase their talents. This scholarship is awarded to a student who will pursue a career in music education and inspire students to develop their musical talents.
